This 7,800 SF renovation of a portion of the prominent Glendale Central Library transformed the children’s and teen areas into vibrant, welcoming spaces for the community to study, socialize, create, explore, and learn. The scope included a central activity area for story time, arts and crafts, and STEAM activities, a new Early Children’s section, an enclosed study area, a teen collaboration space, a recording studio, and a video gaming wall — all united by an intricate, multi-colored domed ceiling that serves as the breathtaking centerpiece of the entire project.
This kind of interpretive precision — bridging artistic concept and construction reality without the safety net of dimensioned drawings — is exactly where Magnum’s experience and craftsmanship set it apart. The finished ceiling is proof of what’s possible when a skilled contractor and a talented design team work in true partnership.
