MAGNUM DRYWALL
Plaster Contractors
Serving Northern California
Magnum’s Plaster Division has built a reputation for delivering precise, durable plaster work on commercial projects throughout Northern California. With over 35 years of experience in three-coat cement plaster, acoustic plaster, EIFS, DEFS, architectural wall paneling, and fireproofing, our crews bring the technical depth and craftsmanship that complex commercial plaster scopes demand.
As part of Magnum’s five-trade platform, our Plaster Division works in coordination with our acoustical ceilings, drywall, Division 10 specialties, or painting & wallcovering teams — keeping multi-scope projects on schedule under one subcontractor.
OUR COMMITMENT

Magnum is not just a subcontractor — we are your partner in progress. Our five divisions operate as a single, unified organization, engineered to deliver custom solutions on our clients’ timelines. This is Magnum Synergy: five trades, working together, built around your schedule.

MAGNUM’S PLASTER SERVICES
Magnum handles every aspect of commercial plaster installation with the precision and efficiency that time-sensitive projects require. Our plaster services include:
- Three-Coat Cement Plaster: Applied in three layers — a 3/8-inch scratch coat, a 3/8-inch brown coat, and an approximately 1/8-inch finish coat — using a pre-blended lime-sand mixture formulated for uniform consistency and lasting durability.
- Acoustic Plaster: Plaster incorporating fibers or aggregates that absorb sound, delivering acoustic performance without compromising the clean appearance of the finished surface.
- Architectural Wall Paneling: These panels replicate the appearance of wood, concrete, and brick while installing on a concealed track system. With a built-in rainscreen for moisture management, they are engineered for commercial applications where performance and aesthetics must coexist.
- Exterior Insulated and Finish Systems (EIFS): An exterior wall cladding system utilizing rigid insulation boards on exterior wall sheathing to deliver an insulated, water-resistant finished surface.
- Direct-Applied Exterior Finish Systems (DEFS): An EIFS application laminated directly to sheathing, eliminating the rigid expanded polystyrene foam layer for a streamlined exterior finish solution.
- Fireproofing: The process of filling openings and joints between walls and floors with fire-resistant materials. Magnum’s crews perform fireproofing efficiently and effectively, meeting code requirements without disrupting the broader project schedule.

META
FREMONT
The Meta Fremont project at 7601 Dumbarton Circle in Fremont involved a one-story build-out, involving the complete gutting of the building and the construction of a spacious and vibrant interior. Magnum performed multiple services, including drywall, ceilings, painting & wallcovering, and specialties. Extensive work was done on exposed ceilings and MEP items, including the application of Idea Paint liquid marker board walls throughout the facility. Additionally, the project included an exterior repaint, encompassing all aluminum window mullions and related window wall system items. The Wallcovering Division installed Autex panels throughout, while the Specialties Division added fixture equipment, completing the building’s readiness for occupancy.
