Google Tasman B3

Google Tasman B3 is among the largest in the world geared toward sustainable and regenerative construction. Magnum’s Acoustical Ceiling and Specialties divisions had to showcase creativity and resourcefulness. By utilizing products from CP Lockers, Abstacata Moow Sliding Marker Boards, Carvart Glass Shower Enclosures, and Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) products throughout the kitchen areas, Magnum’s contributions were critical in constructing a building that prioritized sustainability and employee well-being.

Project Specifics

Google Tasman B3, an awe-inspiring structure covering over 600,000 square feet, proudly ranks among the world’s largest buildings in its pursuit of full Living Building Challenge (LBC) Certification. To meet the LBC’s rigorous standards for healthy materials, as outlined in their Red List, Magnum’s Specialties division had to demonstrate remarkable creativity and resourcefulness.

Elegant Design

As part of the sustainable design features incorporated in this project, CP lockers were installed in the fitness center and bike room, while FRP was used throughout the kitchens. Abstracta Moow Sliding Marker Boards were incorporated into collaboration areas, and Carvart Glass Shower Enclosures added a touch of elegance to the design.

Sustainablity

Our contributions to this project were instrumental in creating a high-performance building that prioritizes environmental responsibility and employee well-being. We hope that our efforts will inspire others to take on the Living Building Challenge and embrace sustainable design practices.
